-
reduce criminal activity in Belfast with the effective utilization of technology to protect our streets in co-operation with the NZ Police and Christchurch North Community Patrol;
-
ensure the safety of the Belfast residents who use our public spaces;
-
reduce disruption during the night waking our working families, children and elderly from their sleep having a detrimental affect on our residents mental health and increasing stress;
-
reduce damage on our roads including the rubber residue burnt into the asphalt creating a slick road hazard for unsuspecting drivers and cyclists;
-
also by reducing unnecessary tyre marks on the road, should an accident occur it is easier for a forensic's team to assess and review an accident site;
