BELFAST SCHOOL POOL (former Sheldon Pool) – The Belfast Residents Association are proposing to Council for a further Pool upgrade to include:
1. Upgrade Change rooms and provide a disabled toilet.
2. Heating – heat pump subsidized by solar panels + appropriate pool cover (seasonal use still applies with weather conditions not disrupting usage).
3. Shade Cover over the top of the pool – letting light through but not UV.
4. Card reader for community members wishing to purchase seasonal passes.
5. Upgrade kitchen space for party hire.

With the Pūtahi Belfast School expansion and over 1000 more homes scheduled to be built in Belfast over the next 3-4 years, it's time to plan for the future of our community infrastructure and our increasing demands on it.

My grandson was at Belfast school but now in the new school, good idea would be to inclose the pool from the wind especially the Easterly wind which is a killer
